I’m Eric Gisler, and I’m running to represent Georgia House District 121.
I’ve lived in this district since 2003, but Georgia has always been home (except for a brief stint in California). I grew up in Atlanta, started college at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, and earned my degree from the University of Georgia in Athens.
Professionally, I’ve spent my career in financial services technology. I currently serve as Head of Product at an insurance tech startup, where I lead teams to solve complex problems and build products that help people manage risk in commercial real estate. I’m also a small business owner — I run a local shop that sells olive oils and balsamic vinegars.
I’m running for State House because I believe Georgia can do better and I want to be part of the solution. Our state is full of potential, but too many families are struggling with the cost of living, inadequate healthcare, underfunded schools, and a lack of affordable housing. These aren’t partisan problems — they’re real-life challenges, and they deserve real-life solutions.
My approach to leadership is collaborative and data-driven. I believe in listening first, using facts to guide decisions, and focusing on what will actually improve working people’s lives, not just corporations or wealthy donors.
I am a somewhat reluctant candidate. There are many other things I'd rather be spending my time on, but after 20 years of single party rule in this state, and with the destructive changes we are currently seeing coming out of Washington DC, I feel the need to try my best to help steer Georgia in a new direction.
I’m not running to play political games. I’m running because I care deeply about this community and want to represent it with integrity.
Whether you’re a Democrat who hasn’t felt heard in recent elections, a Republican frustrated by extremism, or someone who’s just ready for practical, respectful leadership, I hope to earn your support.
